- 2/3 cup (150g) caster sugar
- 2/3 cup (150g) brown sugar
- 2 Coles Australian Free Range Eggs
- 2 cups (300g) plain flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons milk
Method
- Step 1 Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease and line the base and long sides of a 16cm x 26cm slice pan with baking paper, allowing the sides to overhang. Use an electric mixer to beat the butter and combined sugar in a bowl until pale and creamy.
- Step 2 Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour and baking powder and stir to combine. Stir in the milk.
- Step 3 Spread into prepared pan. Bake for 30 mins or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean. Cool.
