- 1 x 410g can pear halves, drained, coarsely chopped

- Step 1 Preheat oven to 200°C. Combine the custard powder, egg yolks, vanilla and 2 tablespoons of flour in a saucepan. Use a balloon whisk to whisk in 125ml (1/2 cup) of milk until smooth.
- Step 2 Add the caster sugar and remaining milk to the pan. Place over medium heat. Cook, stirring with a wooden spoon, until the custard boils and thickens.
- Step 3 Combine the oats, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon and remaining flour in a bowl.
