  • 375g butter, softened
  • 4 1/2 cups icing sugar mixture
  • Assorted food colourings

Method

  • Step 1 Preheat oven to 180C/160C fan-forced. Line 3 x 12-hole (1 1/2-tablespoon-capacity) mini muffin pans with paper cases.
  • Step 2 Combine flour and sugar in a large bowl. Make a well in the centre. Add milk, egg, vanilla and butter. Mix well to combine. Divide mixture evenly among paper cases.
  • Step 3 Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until just firm to touch. Stand in pans for 2 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Repeat with remaining biscuits, cakes, choc sticks and melted chocolate.
  • Step 6 Pipe buttercream onto biscuits to form backs of shoes. Decorate with sprinkles, flowers and cachous (see note). Serve.
