- 125g butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup Nutella spread
- 1 3/4 cups plain flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips
Method
- Step 1 Preheat oven to 180C/160C fan-forced. Line 2 large baking trays with baking paper.
- Step 2 Using an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and Nutella. Beat until just combined.
- Step 3 Sift flour and baking powder over butter mixture. Add chocolate chips. Using a wooden spoon, stir until combined. Roll level tablespoons of mixture into balls. Place on prepared tray 3cm apart, to allow room for spreading. Using a fork, flatten slightly. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, swapping trays halfway, or until light golden. Cool on trays. Transfer to wire rack to cool completely. Serve.
